Imperial Teotihuacan - Adventures in Colonial Africa
An Imperial Legion is a military unit consisting of (in theory) 8,000 soldiers, though naturally include more than that number in terms of support personnel.
Largely a holdover from the smaller scale of warfare in the Old Empire, it is rare to see Legions operate singly outside of the homeland, in actual theatres of war. Armies are generally comprised of a minimum of 3-4 Legions.
General Tlacotzin Xochipantzin holds the record for leading the most legions in a single battle, at 20 legions in the Battle of Rioja in the Crusade against Spain.
